Recreational Vehicle Injuries in Mississippi

, Woodville, MS - ATV Rider Badly Injured in Head-On Crash on US-61, Germany Law Firm PLLC

When most people think about vehicle collisions, they imagine car crashes and tractor-trailer accidents, not necessarily UTVs and ATVs. Nevertheless, these kinds of accidents take place a lot more frequently than most people realize.

The lack of any regulations also plays a role in these accidents. Quad bikes, Jeeps, and even ATVs are frequently ridden on off-road trails, miles away from the nearest stop sign or traffic light. Riding conditions like this can cause serious accidents if a driver does not exercise proper safety precautions.

One reason so many accidents involving recreational vehicles is the absence of any state licensing requirements. There is no type of training or licensing required to operate any of these vehicles. In Mississippi,  anyone can hop on a jet ski, even if they have never used one before. No special license is required in order for you to drive a camper or a motorhome either, which causes people to be virtually helpless when it comes to things such as judging braking distances and what to do if your vehicle hydroplanes.

Any kind of recreational vehicle accident has the potential to cause serious injuries to those involved. Our firm has aided hundreds of recreational accident victims with injuries as serious as:
