Union Co, MS (September 20, 2021) – According to local officials, at least one person was hurt in an automobile accident in Union County on Monday, September 20.

According to witnesses, the accident occurred at the intersection of Interstate 22 EB and MS-178. According to early reports, the incident occurred around 2:52 p.m. When local officials arrived, all eastbound lanes were temporarily shut, and paramedics treated those who had been hurt in the accident.

There were confirmed injuries on the scene. On the seriousness of the injuries, there is still a lack of information. Ambulances were deployed to the scene in large numbers. The injured were taken to a neighboring hospital for treatment.
