Tupelo, MS (December 22, 2021) – Law enforcement officers were dispatched to a serious car accident in Tupelo on Tuesday afternoon, December 21. The accident happened around 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of US-45 SB and Interstate 22.

As a result of the collision, at least one person was injured. At this time, the extent of the injuries is unknown. Medical personnel on the scene assessed and treated the victims, and all southbound lanes were closed due to the crash.
