Tupelo, MS (July 10, 2020) – A serious car wreck on Thursday afternoon, July 9th, left one person deceased and injured others in Tupelo. The fatal crash was reported at the intersection of Kincannon Street and Lumpkin Avenue.
According to authorities, at least two vehicles collided at or near the railroad tracks at the intersection. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and one person was pronounced deceased a short time later.
At this time, no details concerning the number of people involved have been reported. The official cause of the crash remains under investigation.
