Passenger Fatalities in Mississippi Car Accidents
Passengers are in a distinctive position when it comes to Mississippi car accidents. An injured passenger is rarely, if ever, responsible for the occurrence. This, however, does not make them any less susceptible to collision-related injuries.
Passengers are just as vulnerable to the exact injuries as drivers, including fractured bones and serious brain injuries. Regardless of what caused the crash, it is typically assumed that someone other than the passenger is liable for their injuries.
Auto insurance coverage is a condition all Mississippi drivers must meet. When a passenger is hurt in a collision, this insurance is what covers any losses they sustained and makes it possible for them to satisfy the financial obligations they incurred in the accident.
Usually, the result of bringing a claim against a person’s insurance provider is an insulting settlement offer that will not even cover your essential medical costs. If an insurance adjuster reaches out to you with an initial offer, we strongly suggest that you meet with a practiced victim injury attorney in Mississippi before you blindly accept it.
