Starkville, MS – Lee Alton Roberson Dies in Car Accident on Oktoc Rd
Starkville, MS (August 01, 2021) – Officers from the Starkville Police Department along with emergency responders were dispatched to the site of a fatal two-vehicle accident in Starkville on Saturday, July 31st.
Police reported that the accident happened at about 5:10 p.m. on Oktoc Road in Oktibbeha County.
The deceased has since been identified as 64-year-old Lee Alton Roberson, a resident of Crawford. Roberson was a passenger in a pick-up truck that was involved in a rollover collision.
Roberson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was transported via ambulance to OCH Regional Medical Center with injuries classified as non-life-threatening.
The precise circumstances leading up to the crash were not made immediately available.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
