Seminary, MS - Update: Georgia Brazieal Dies in Crash with Semi on US-49

Seminary, MS (January 6, 2022) - A collision in Seminary on Wednesday morning, January 5, left three people dead. The accident took place on US-49 near MS-589 at around 10:05 a.m. 

Local reports revealed that 31-year-old Quentin Harvey of Donaldsonville, Georgia was operating a 2008 International Tractor-Trailer while headed southbound on the highway. The semi crashed into an eastbound 2010 Toyota Sienna driven by 29-year-old Georgia Brazieal, of Seminary. 

Brazieal and his two passengers, a four-year-old and a one-month-old, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. All southbound lanes were closed following the accident. No further information has been revealed at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is underway.
