Fatal Truck Accidents in Redwood

Redwood, MS – Man Killed in Crash with Log Truck on MS-3

Throughout 2010, more than 3,400 people suffered fatal injuries in collisions with large tractor-trailers. Serious truck accidents in Redwood, like anywhere else in Mississippi, are frequently among the most serious kinds of accidents that can occur. This is at least partly because of the size and power or commercial vehicles but also because of the actions of negligent motorists and other entities. After any abrupt crash that was caused by no fault of the victim, it is crucial for those who have suffered to know that they may have substantial rights that are protected by law.

Besides such concerns as distracted driving and driver fatigue, a wide range of trucking collisions is often the fault of various entities like vehicle manufacturers or negligent employers. Trucking companies need to transport goods as fast as possible, which can sometimes lead to extremely long hours and severely overloaded cargo. These actions can contribute to issues such as drowsy driving and overturned trucks. Any collision involving a large truck can be devastating.
