Purvis, MS (May 26, 2020) – On Tuesday morning, May 26th, police officers and paramedics were summoned to the scene of a crash with reported injuries. It took place on U.S. Route 11 at or near Sherlock Herring Road in the town of Purvis.
At least two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of U.S. 11, according to authorities. Medical personnel arrived at the scene and rushed to provide medical aid to all the injured victims. An unknown number of people were hurt in the accident but their conditions have not been reported to the public.
Police investigators are working together to determine the events that led to this incident.
