Pinola, MS – Dennis Wayne Franklin Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Hwy 28Mississippi Legal News
Pinola, MS (April 27, 2020) – A motorcyclist was tragically killed during an accident that was reported on Highway 28 in the town of Pinola. The fatal accident happened at around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday night, April 26th.
According to officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist, later identified as Dennis Wayne Franklin, 50, of Pinola, was traveling east along the highway when he was involved in an accident. Franklin was ejected from his motorcycle into the roadway where he was then struck by an oncoming Kia Rio.
Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and Franklin was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later. The events that led to this incident remain under investigation.
