Oxford, MS (September 05, 2020) – An injury-causing car accident occurred in the 2000 block of University Avenue on Saturday, September 5th.

As indicated by police at the crash site, the collision took place near Kroger supermarket at round 10:55 a.m. 

First response crews responded to the scene of the accident in order to assist any injured victims. Officers from the Oxford Police Department are still attempting to establish the cause of the crash. 

Emergency medical personnel also reported to the crash site to render medical aid but declined to reveal any information concerning the degree of their injuries.

The number of people with injuries and their current medical conditions is unknown at this time. 

The incident is still under police investigation.
