Fatal Head-On Collisions in Mississippi
There is a significant risk of death in the event of a head-on collision. These are some of the most deadly car accidents possible. Head-on crashes have a death rate of up to 58%. Despite accounting for only 2% of all registered car accidents, head-on collisions are involved in more than 10% of all fatalities on the road every year. The majority of head-on collisions are caused by distracted or inattentive drivers who stray into opposing lanes of traffic.
Wrongful death lawsuits are intended to compensate surviving family members when a loved one dies as a result of another party's negligence. Just because the victim died does not absolve the at-fault party of responsibility. Instead, the defendant must compensate the deceased's family members following a fatal car accident. This can only be accomplished by working with an Oxford personal injury lawyer that has years of experience representing victims in wrongful death claims.
