Oxford, MS (November 19, 2021) – On Friday morning, November 19, at least one person was injured in a car accident in the Oxford area. An accident occurred at the intersection of MS-30 and Molly Barr Road at 6:41 a.m.

At least two vehicles collided shortly after entering the intersection, according to local officials.  There were downed power lines at the scene. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims. All of the injured people were taken to local hospitals for treatment, and both lanes were closed. 

Local authorities are currently investigating the accident. More information will be available.
