Oxford, MS (July 18, 2022) - One or more people were hurt in a car wreck in Oxford on the afternoon of July 18. At around 4:40 p.m., a call was made to police in the area concerning a car wreck on Bramlett Boulevard.
Sources say the collision happened in the 500 block of Bramlett Boulevard near Chaney’s Pharmacy when an unspecified number of vehicles collided for reasons still being investigated.
Numerous emergency responders were observed helping at the crash site, including EMTs, police, and fire crews. Those with injuries were treated on-site while those with extensive injuries were transported to local hospitals as necessary.
The roadway was closed while responders were present in the area, resulting in some traffic delays. Authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
