Oxford, MS (May 19, 2020) – At around 12:51 p.m. on Monday afternoon, May 18th, police officers with the Oxford Police Department were sent to the scene of a motor vehicle collision. According to authorities, it happened at or near the intersection of Van Buren Avenue and South 14th Street.
The vehicles involved collided in the vicinity of 1300 Van Buren Ave, at or near Mississippi Auto Arms Inc., for reasons that are under investigation. Medics arrived to help all victims involved. An unspecified number of parties were hurt in the crash but their conditions have not been reported.
Authorities are piecing together the events that led to this incident.
