Oxford, MS (May 19, 2022) - On Thursday afternoon, May 19, emergency workers were sent to a major vehicle accident in Oxford.
According to a local source, EMS units arrived at the site at 1:10 p.m. on University Avenue. Several lanes were closed while law enforcement officials investigated. At least one person was injured in the crash. At this point, the extent of their injuries is unclear.
Local officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
