Deadly Head-On Crashes in Mississippi
In the event of a head-on accident, there is a high risk of fatal injury. These are some of the deadliest road accidents, with death rates as high as 58%. Although they account for about 2% of all recorded automotive accidents, head-on collisions account for more than 10% of all road fatalities each year. Drivers who are preoccupied or inattentive deviate into opposing traffic lanes without communicating their intentions cause the majority of head-on collisions.
