Moselle, MS (November 07, 2021) - A disabled vehicle caused a three-car pile-up on Interstate 59 that put one person in a hospital emergency room with severe injuries on Saturday, November 6th.
According to Jones County Fire officials, firefighters from multiple units were dispatched to the scene at about 5:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, crews found three vehicles blocking both southbound lanes at Exit 78.
It took crews about two and a half hours to clear the lanes.
An investigation determined that a distracted driver may have contributed to the accident.
