Marshall Co, MS (August 21, 2021) – Local law enforcement officers and first responders were dispatched to the scene of an injury collision in Marshall County on Friday, August 20th at about 10:00 a.m.

Police reports show that the accident took place on Interstate 22 near Exit 21 for Red Banks, and resulted in the temporary closure of all eastbound lanes of travel. 

The total number of victims and the degree of any injuries have not been reported.

The immediate area was closed as police and emergency medical personnel worked to medically evaluate those involved and render the necessary medical treatment. 

This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
