Marion Co, MS – Taylor, Megan Lee Killed in Deadly Crash on US-98

Marion Co, MS (January 20, 2021) – Two women and an unborn child lost their lives following a deadly two-vehicle collision in Marion County on Monday night, January 18. 

Local reports from the Mississippi Highway Patrol revealed that the fatal accident occurred near the intersection of US-98 and Hunt Road. A Hyundai driven by 25-year-old Taylor Lee of Tylertown, Mississippi was crossing the eastbound lanes of the highway when it was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck at around 5:20 p.m. Taylor and her passenger, 31-year-old Megan Lee of Tylertown, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. 

Taylor Lee was reportedly ten weeks pregnant at the time of the crash. A child, the driver, and the passenger of the pickup were also injured in the collision. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is currently underway.
