Macon, MS – Darrell Holt Killed in Semi-Truck Wreck on US-45Mississippi Legal News
Macon, MS (September 24, 2020) – A utility worker was killed while attempting to restore power to residents after hurricane Sally following a collision near Macon on Wednesday, September 23.
According to local reports, the collision occurred on US-45. At the time of the accident, 37-year-old Darrel Holt of Excelsior Springs, Missouri was traveling in a convoy of power vehicles on the highway. Holt was reportedly struck by an 18-wheeler and sustained fatal injuries.
Holt was reportedly an employee of R&M Pole Line Construction. At this time, the cause of the accident has not been reported. No further updates on the collision are currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
