Louisville, MS (December 6, 2019) – On Tuesday, police claim that a worker was killed in a fatal workplace accident after a piece of machinery allegedly malfunctioned in Louisville.

The accident took place at Winston Plywood & Veneer in Louisville on South Church Avenue. The 21-year-old victim was immediately taken to the hospital with head trauma and fractures to the face and neck.

Thursday, information showed that a chipper came apart while being used but there have been no other details.

The victim tragically passed away after being taken to the hospital.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
