Jones Co, MS (January 14, 2021) – The identities of the victims killed in a deadly house fire in Jones County on Sunday, January 10, have been released by local authorities.
Local sources revealed that 76-year-old Ruth McCoy and her son, 50-year-old Thomas McCoy, were killed in a fatal structure fire that evening. The call came to local authorities at around 11:21 p.m. The address of the fire was not provided, so fire department officials had to locate the home via the cellphone signal.
