Jackson, MS (August 07, 2021) – Police officers and emergency responders were called to the scene of a major injury accident on Saturday, August 7th in Hinds County.
The accident took place in the northbound lane of Interstate 220 at the exit for Hanging Moss Road in Jackson at about 7:05 p.m. The collision resulted in the temporary shut down of all lanes of travel on the interstate.
Police on the scene did confirm that injuries had been sustained, but no additional information regarding the victims of their post-accident medical conditions has been released.
This crash is currently under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
