Jackson, MS (November 6, 2019) – Around 3 p.m. this afternoon, November 6, a car crash occurred at the intersection of East University Drive and Lakeland Drive in Jackson.
Though few details are known regarding the accident, a large police presence was at the intersection after a police chase and a car accident ended in injuries.
Police have not yet confirmed what led to the crash or exactly how many vehicles were involved, though several were damaged at the scene of the accident. A sedan was allegedly attempting to outrun police when it crashed into an SUV.
Various emergency services were present at the scene of the collision, including paramedics, who assisted those with injuries.
The investigation of the accident is ongoing.
