Hattiesburg, MS (December 8, 2021) – A driver was killed and two others were injured following a head-on collision in Hattiesburg on Monday evening, December 5. The fatal accident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Interstate 59.
Local reports revealed that 36-year-old William Tabor of Solberry, Indiana, was traveling north in the southbound lanes of the highway. It was then that he collided head-on with a 2020 Nissan Titan. Tabor suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants of the Nissan were injured, and one was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No updates on their conditions have been revealed at this time.
An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
