Harrison Co, MS - Major Car Wreck on I-10 near Old MS 67

Harrison Co, MS (July 19, 2022) - At least one person was hurt in a car wreck in Harrison County on the night of July 18. At approximately 10:30, emergency crews including police and paramedics were sent to assist at the crash scene. 

According to officials, the wreck happened on Interstate 10 near Woolmarket/Old MS 67. What led up to the collision is currently unknown at this time. 

Two or more vehicles collided in the area resulting in injuries for at least one person involved. EMTs rendered emergency aid to those in the wreck before transporting the extensively injured patients to local hospitals for treatment. 

Currently, police in Harrison County are still investigating the details of the crash. 

All lanes of the interstate were blocked while police and other responders were in the area. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
