Fatal High-Speed Crashes in Mississippi
When drivers travel at a high rate of speed, there is an increased risk of being seriously injured in a car accident. While highways provide a convenient and efficient way to get from point A to point B, the speeds traveled on these roads can prove dangerous in the event of a collision. An estimated 15% of annual traffic fatalities in Mississippi involve speeding motorists, and thousands are killed in high-speed crashes each year in the United States.
When the negligence of another person results in the loss of a loved one, it is natural that surviving family members would want to seek justice. A Mississippi wrongful death lawsuit could give them the financial compensation needed to cover funeral expenses and burial costs, medical expenses, mental suffering, and other damages related to a deadly accident. Mississippi wrongful death claims involve many complicated laws, including strict statutes of limitations and rules regarding who can file, so it helps to have the help of a qualified legal team on your side.
