Gulfport, MS (December 3, 2021) – A man was seriously injured following a residential fire in the Gulfport area on Thursday morning, December 2. The incident took place at a triplex located on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at around 5:42 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found the unit engulfed in flames. Emergency responders were able to rescue one man from the burning building. He was taken to Memorial Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The man is reportedly in stable condition at this time. The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
