Intersection Accidents in Mississippi
You are more likely to be involved in a car crash when traveling through an intersection. According to recent findings, crossroads have become more dangerous in the past twenty years. While intersections represent a small fraction of American roadways, they are the scene of roughly 2.5 million automobile accidents per year, according to the Federal Highway Administration. Collisions at intersections are among the most dangerous on the road and account for around 20% of traffic fatalities. Left-hand turns are responsible for around 22% of all intersection accidents.
When involved in a vehicle accident, you must demonstrate that the negligence of another party was the direct cause of your injuries, which can be difficult to demonstrate on your own. Accident victims frequently find themselves in a difficult position when attempting to obtain compensation for their injuries, contributing to a downward spiral that adds more stress to an already frustrating situation. Fortunately, you will not have to go up against a huge insurance company on your own. Experienced Mississippi personal injury attorneys can assist you in putting together a convincing case, ensuring that your legal rights are protected, and holding that the at-fault party responsible.
