Fayette, MS (March 22, 2022) - Two people were killed following a traffic accident outside of Fayette on Tuesday morning, March 22. The deadly accident took place on MS-552 at around 1:45 a.m.
Local reports revealed that a 2011 Dodge pickup truck and a 2011 Nissan SUV were headed westbound on the highway. The Dodge reportedly crashed into the Nissan. The driver of the pickup, 23-year-old Jarrisu Gillespie of Columbus, and the passenger, 20-year-old Jaeda Anthony of Southaven, were reportedly killed in the crash.
The condition of the other driver, 20-year-old Alicia Triplett of D’Iberville, was not included in the local reports. An ongoing investigation into the fatal crash is underway.
