Columbus, MS (June 26, 2022) - One person was injured during a devastating house fire in Columbus on Saturday, June 25th.
The Columbus Fire and Rescue Chief stated that the fire broke out at about 2:00 a.m. in the 300th block of 23rd Street North. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control.
One victim received burn injuries to both of his arms and was hospitalized in a burn ward for treatment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
