Columbus, MS – Drivers Injured in Two-Car Collision on MS-69 near Fairgrounds
Columbus, MS (July 27, 2021) – Early on Tuesday, July 27, both drivers were injured in the aftermath of a two-vehicle crash in the Columbus area.
The incident was reported at around 11 a.m. on MS-69. Emergency responders were sent to the scene of the crash located near the Columbus Fairgrounds. A northbound Ford Focus and a Toyota reportedly collided at the site.
Due to the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. At least one involved party was transported to Baptist Golden Triangle for the treatment of sustained injuries. Another victim was provided aid at the scene by medical personnel. The area was closed for several hours due to the accident.
