Distracted Driving Accidents in Clinton

5.29 Clinton, MS - MDOT Worker Has Both Legs Broken During Crash on I-20

Distracted drivers are one of the primary causes of fatal pedestrian accidents in Mississippi. Pedestrians who cross streets inside of marked crosswalks or at intersections equipped with traffic lights have the right of way according to Mississippi traffic laws. When the driver of a vehicle is focused on something other than the road in front of them, pedestrians often go unnoticed and are seriously injured or killed as a result.
