Biloxi, MS – 1 Dead in Train vs Car CollisionMississippi Legal News
Biloxi, MS (March 14, 2020) – A man was killed on Saturday, March 14th after a train collided with a car.
The Harrison County Coroner listed the official cause of death of 60-year-old Ramond Rivera Jr. as blunt force trauma.
The official report states that Rivera was driving northbound along Rodenberg Avenue when his car was hit by a train traveling eastbound at a railroad crossing. This particular train crossing does not have crossing arms to prevent cars from crossing when a train is approaching.
Rivera’s vehicle flipped over several times, then came to a stop on the north side of the tracks.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim, Ramond Rivera, at this time.
